With the Protection Pack, New Balance offers a trilogy of revisited 2002Rs in a deconstructed-reconstructed style, blending innovation and heritage.
The "Sea Salt" version features an all-white upper made from smooth leather and suede. The raw, irregular effect of the panels gives the impression of knife-cutting, reinforcing the model's unique visual identity. The tongue, also frayed, reveals exposed foam to accentuate the unfinished look.
The whole thing rests on a slightly yellowed sole equipped with ABZORB technology, bringing comfort and a vintage touch to this silhouette with a strong design.
Popularized by two major collaborations, the 2002R has enjoyed a second youth since its first release in 2010, and this "Sea Salt" edition confirms its return to the top.
